Inset verse keeps its stepped lines and stanza spacing, while dated chapters add a fine rule and italic date.

Chapter openings combine bold italic headings, centred quotations and drop capitals beneath a winged-heart ornament. Alternating running heads and centred bottom folios carry the hierarchy across the pages.
